Hi all,

first, well done for getting the new guidelines onto the site. I will 
stop cowering in the corner now and start administrating with confidence!

Second, the printers have apparently produced a proof for the new 
outreach leaflet and posted it to me, so as soon as I receive it and if 
it's acceptable I'll send them a cheque so they can proceed. I think we 
should have them before next weekend (ie by the 20th).

Bad news...
Rather cheekily, the printers have put up their prices so the 5000 
leaflets are now costing £75 + £15 p&p. However...

Very good news...
Some time ago I suggested that UWE shared planet week should contribute 
something to local groups (beside giving them a platform to meet UWE 
students etc.). I have just learned that any profit from the week will 
be going to BIMC. I had to argue that UWE People & Planet should at 
least cover their own expenses!
This will hopefully raise a respectable sum, since there will be 
collections, auctions, and a raffle with several hundred tickets. What 
we decide to do with it is up to the group.

And finally...
slight amend to the films to be shown on Monday 23rd at Frenchay. These 
will be required from 12.30-2pm and 3-5pm, not all day as I thought 
previously. A suggested programme for the two sessions would be good at 
this stage.
