Suggested films to show are:

A Euro Indymedia Newsreal compilation, I have a copy of December´s, 
and Ian (I think) has more including the latest. 

Undercurrents compilation (from the titalating ´Everlasting love´duet 
between Bush and Blair to the triumphant feel good factor of asylum 
seekers being freed from detention camps in Austrailia.

Both can last about an hour and ten minutes, but are series´ of 
shorts, so quite flexible in use.

The Fourth World War is another of about the same length which follows 
the anti-capitalist struggle since the Korean General Strike in 1996 
around the world to date.  I think this would be very suitable and 
tally nicely with People and Planet´s global focus too.

There is also the short I made about media representation of protest 
focusing on the WB demo in Prague, 2000, ´Praha ha ha!´.  I can hear 
some of you yawing as I suggest this AGAIN (me included), but I did 
make it as a student at UWE, and the Jon Snow stuff always looks 
good.  I have no desire to self-promote, so those of you that have 
seen it, please judge whether it´s appropriate or not. 

There is quite a catalogue now of films shown at the BIMC nights, 
Ian´s the one with the lists, but I have some copies.
