[IMC-bristol] Dealing with requests for information

Hi,

we've had numerous requests for information on Bristol IMC recently, 
from postgrad students to the BBC.

I have a feeling that none of the requests are being answered (but I 
could be wrong). Do we need to work out how these responses could be 
formed? I think having a common method for responding to interview / 
information / etc requests is necessary.

Personally, I think 90% of the requests are ill informed, e.g. 'what do 
you [bimc] think about X' when we don't claim to speak on behalf of our 
users at all. Nonetheless, since we all at least have similar views on 
the virtues of independent media (otherwise we wouldn't be involved) we 
might want to collectively comment specifically on these issues?
