[IMC-bristol] Feature in Inside Out Magazine

I'd be interested to see a copy of the magazine, and to have some
discussion about how we should represent the project - what aspects we
want to promote - eg. to make sure that the film screenings and media
day are mentioned, etc.

It would cool if anyone else wanted to go along - having four of us
together worked well for the venue interview, and I think that did a lot
to increase our profile [well, maybee]. This can be really usefull - eg
we have given out copies of the venue article as part of bimc presentations.

>>My apologies for not getting you a copy of the magazine as promised. I'll have one out to you as soon as I get some extra copies. In the mean time, feel free to visit the website at: www.fenixmedia.co.uk and the Inside+Out page at: http://www.fenixmedia.co.uk/insideoutjob/insideout.html .
>>
>>A littl further information for you - It'll be going out to almost 20,000 people in the local area, so it should make for excellent publicity for yourself and your current projects. I can't promise to be able to get in anything on Radio Dialect, as the feature is based around local film groups, but I assure you that I will make sure that the Bristol Indymedia website is mentioned in the piece. Dialect is quite prominently linked on the Bristol homepage of Indymedia, so people should find their way to you.
>>
>>My editor's brief is quite specific in that she wants an interview with someone representing a film making group from the local area. I must confess to being not entirely sure of the things that you're involved in, so if you aren't currently involved with any specific film group and can't help with the article, but can point me in the direction of somebody who can, that's fine too. Rest assured that I'll make sure that your link gets in the magazine as thanks for your help and support.
>>
>>For your information: The article will be around relatively brief - two hundred words or so, and will be accompanied with a picture of yourself or the group. If you feel that you'd be an appropriate representative of a film group and willing to be interviewed for the article, you can provide a picture, or I can have one taken by our photographer. The interview itself shouldn't take any longer than ten minutes.
>>
>>Please bear with me while I pick up a few more copies of the magazine - I appreciate that you wouldn't want to have yourself or your colleagues associated with a poor publication, so it's only fair for you to have a chance to browse through the magazine before you agree to anything.
