[IMC-bristol] Leeds Bradford Indymedia (re)launch, April 8

Hello all!

Leeds indymedia is expanding to include Bradford too-
we are changing our name and re-launching our site!
Leeds re-launch events are on Thursday the 8th of
April and thought I'd send an invitation to all
imcistas around the uk, just in case you'd like to
join us :-)

we are willing to do some open publishing/linux/mir
workshops throughout the day. If anyone could help
with that, it would be much appreaciated!

if you're planning to come, please let us know on
imc-leeds-contact at lists.indymedia.org so that we can
arrange accomodation if necessary.

About Leeds Bradford Indymedia
We are one of 10 new independnet media collectives
(IMC) around the uk promoting independent news and

creating news which isn't mediated by the usual
channels - big business, government...

About the Launch Event
Our launch event is on 8th April and we are lucky to
be able to host a touring exhibition of photos from a
refugee camp (Balata) in Palestine.

Events on the day include:

12pm -8pm - Wrangthorn Church Hall, Hyde Park Corner.
Photo and interactive exhibition from Balata Refugee
Camp, films, demo of Leeds Bradford Indymedia web site
and open software programmes, stalls, films, food and
music.

9pm - late upstairs at the Fenton pub, Woodhouse Lane.
Launch party with DJs, visuals, films.
