Hi Ian,

Been doing a bit of sniffing about about this college / toxic waste thing....

Spoke t osomeone i know who runs a toxic waste disposal company. Apparently the symptoms described are consistent with irritant hydrocarbons and phenols escaping the site, cleearly not a case of nimby paranoia.

Also coal was used at g works so the site will be contaminated with mercury, lead, cadmium and other treats that are long term poisons/ carcinogens. And where there is dust there is danger.

Good thing is have found out that any waste moved must be logged at environment ageny with a consignment note and this is a public document.

Obvoiusly i think it is important to share this informnation immeaditely but it strikes me that there is a ten minute film here too that may add something to peopels knowledge and stir up some resistance. What do you think?

BTW Ivan is great guy! I love his flat.....

Mark.
