hi
heres some info about creative stuff happening in the build-up to / to
coincide with the European Social Forum - coming to a UK near you - i
note that the next event coincides with the bristol media day, so/ but
perhaps future collaborations are in order... some of it sounds a little
overbureaucratic - glad we dont have Visioning meetings! but thats those
londoners for you! - but might also be fun in parts...

EUROPEAN CREATIVE FORUM
The European Creative Forum is a group working within the official
process that could be an option for us to hook up with. They have a
whole day event the last Saturday of every month leading up to the ESF,
and do stuff with art, culture, etc. They will likely have a march
during the ESF itself (sound systems, creative stuff).

On June 12th they will open their London space to us during the morning
so we can have the next meeting in our planning process.
 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
European Creative Forum - Visions of Another World Events are every
SECOND Saturday of the month (June 12th, July 10th, Aug 14th, Sep 11th -
Yep 9/11 - and Oct 9th) + we aim to produce a street carnival during
the ESF itself.

Please note:
* Several of us already work with the UK-ESF's Culture Working Group as
individuals.
* Full affilliation to the ESF will be discussed at our own Visioning
Meeting at the end of this month.
* We seek collaboration with IMC to help manifest a world where social
values are placed above economic gain.

Please find early promo for June 12th Visions of Another World event
below and attached. As we have a green promotional policy (ie no flyers)...

We are having an ECF-Visions Events Organising Meeting tomorrow (Wed) at 7pm
at the new venue - Project 142 (142 Lea Bridge Road, Hackney/Clapton E5) and
ALL are welcome.

Peace And Power To You,
