[IMC-bristol] media day update

hi all
sorry couldnt make meeting on monday - sick as parrot and only just
getting back to normal now.

rob mitchell & shawn napthali have got back to me: they are potentially
well up for leading a session on media representation / community media
during the day - will need childcare - and think we ought to meet up with
them to clarify what exactly we and they want to do.  shawn is up for
chairing a session also.  waiting to hear back from clive, but rob sez he
and clive both have new films they could show that would be relevant and
judging from the st pauls event at the watershed way back when, they both
have a good following and are entertaining, knowledgeable speakers.

have also confirmed with mh that bristle will lead a session, i need to
chase up jeff re subvertise workshop (ian, do you have a contact for
him?), and havent heard back from  john at the spark.

how are other people getting on?

about DJs for in the bar in the evening: as suggested previously am going
to ask john mayford and the grumpy men (easton cowboys that DJ'd for
dialect launch) as they're all b-imc fans.
