Hi kollektives,
on April28th, we sent an imc/esf update and some proposals to the
imc-uk-process list. Now there has been some progress - some people from
the London, Cambridge and Leeds collectives are really interested to
meet up. So we decided to just go ahead with the meeting next Sunday,
May 16th, in Cambridge, at 1pm. From the response we got to the last
update, it seems that it will be a rather small meeting this time. But
it won't be the last one - and we'll report back extensively.
If any of you are interested to catch up on the esf/imc/communication
rights/alternative spaces situation next Sunday, please drop a line to
the imc-uk-network list or to imc-cambridge at lists.indymedia.org, so that
the Cambridge people know how many to expect. The idea is to have
"elevenses" together (late breakfast around 11), and a more focussed
meeting at 1pm, for maybe 3 hours. If you want to arrive on Saturday
evening, the Cambridge collective can find some sleeping places - sofas
and floors.
It seems that the last proposal didn't make it to many of the local
lists, so we are sending this directly. And if you want to read up on
what's been happening so far, check the links at the bottom of this mail.
cheers from
the imc efcr esf space support group
