hi Ian,

the stlimc collective met last night and we discussed your request to
move to our server.  we are happy to host the chicago imc on our
server, but we currently do not have the ability to do that (move
chicago to our server) ourselves.  the solution we came up with is that
if the chicago imc can provide the tech savvy to move your site to our
server, we can provide a trusted person with access (ie. username and
password) to do it on per own.  maybe we can trade you server space in
exchange for some tech help here as well... we can discuss this more
once you've had a chance to talk about it with your collective.

we were also intrigued by the idea of a mid-west regional conference,
but a bit overwhelmed at the idea of planning such a gathering.  but,
it would be great to meet with you all face to face, and i know that
some of our members travel to chicago, and one (jon pike) will be going
there soon.
