[CIMC-working] ***emergency*** statement: please consider notes on soros grant & TMF

Hi all and Chris,

This just came up on imc lists over last few days.

Please read the notes in the emails sent after these.

I believe these emails need to go to an imc network listserve soon, 
probably the comm list.

It would help in this case for Chicago to make some sort of very short 
statement like:

Dear all,

The Chicago IMC is very concerned about the efforts of the Urbana-Champaign 
IMC to obtain funds for imc network and local use from the Open Society 
Institute of capitalist George Soros.  We will be writing a statement about 
this in the next weeks.

This is issue is quite similar in some ways to the Ford grant, on which 
seven imc locals made very critical statements. See:
