Garth, all,

1. I think at most we'd have to take a position in regards to the CPMWG. The
email I forwarded has their listserve/contact info, so you can look into the
underlying issues.

2. Most of the time the global IMC list emails I forward to this list are
for-your-information. I forward them because I figure they may be of
interest to CIMC participants. Again, nothing is "pre-approved" if CIMC
participants generate momentum and consensus against (or for) something.
Doug and I are currently liaisons to/from the CIMC, and we do not want to be
representing positions that have not been consensed upon by the entire
collective.

3. If I am proposing something, I will use the word "proposal" in the
subject line.

4. Which letter are you referring to? As a matter of clarification for
others, you may want to include a link to whatever you're referring to. This
list's archives are at
http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-chicago-working/

5. This may sound like I'm stating the obvious, but anything Indymedia is up
to the prerogative of its participants -- you pick your own level/area(s) of
involvement.
