While I disagree with Urbana-Chaimpaign imc's approach to grants, Sascha's 
reply to Petros's note Chris posted is very curteous and well reasoned.

In several personal notes of correspondence with Sascha when I questioned 
his views/strategies, I have found him to be polite and fair in 
conversation. Sascha and his co-workers/activists aim to advance the work 
of imc according to their interpretation of the imc principles.

I do think we need to critique the some of the strategies and emerging 
bureaucratic practices of UC imc in terms of grants and perhaps the style 
of process on finance.
