It seems good to redirect this note that was just cc'd to the imc-chicago
mailing list archives....

First, a note from Doug:
The point below by Chris about providing url references to statements on
decisions (when refering to such) is important and would be good practice
on imc process lists in general...

For context, see original Chicago statement:
http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-finance/2002-November/001561.html

A search has been made of the Sept and Oct archives of the imc process,
communication and finance lists for statements by Sascha of UC imc on the
withdrawal from pursuing the ford grant and such a statement was not
found. Apologies if this was overlooked.

Note from Chris to Sascha and imc-chicago list:

http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-process/2002-September/003898.html

Sascha, Sheri, CIMC,

I am familiar with Sheri's post from September 23 (URL is above), wherein
she withdraws her support for the Ford Foundation grant. If you, Sascha,
state that the UC-IMC has already withdrawn support, as well, then so be it.

As a suggested practice, it might be helpful for archive URLs to be
referred to, as needed. Thanks for everyone's efforts at communication and
clarification.

Chris

As mentioned before, in solidarity with CMI-Argentina's concerns, the
UCIMC is no longer seeking funding from the Ford Foundation. The grant
request was officially withdrawn several weeks ago. We will not be
renewing this grant application and the Ford Foundation grant seeking
process is ended.
