All,
I like the instant-phone-audio-to-an-Indymedia-page more in theory than in =
practice.
I think any sort of Dispatch person is far more useful to us, in terms of r=
eceiving calls, interacting with the caller (who's in the field), taking =
notes, parsing to copy, and posting updates/routing calls. The Quebec Cit=
y operation was a template for how to do it properly and effectively....
I'm just concerned that the automated system, while impressive "on paper", =
may be a bit gimmicky, and less saturating, since it outputs raw audio, a=
nd not necessarily ready-to-digest news.
But I'm open....
