I agree that there are issues with phone-to-post that may make it
useless -- in particular the lack of editing control.
Another option for timely updates would be via email on a cell phone.
This could be done with coordination (i.e., you just email it to someone
and they post it), or potentially automatically -- the biggest problem
with automatic posting is spam, because it's way easier to spam email
than a web form (i.e., if there was an address that automatically posted
everything that went to it).
Cell phones are awkward input devices, but they allow editing and the
resulting content is well suited for posting -- far easier to skim and
compile than audio.
