All,
Emily will be aiming for Tuesday, Dec. 3 to complete a rough press pass
design for us. She asks that we submit any general design specs -- like
colors -- to her, asap.
I propose we pull some shit together -- battle it out once and for all over
colors or whatever, so that I may present a uniform set of agreed-upon
parameters to her, asap.
Is that okay? Please throw it at me....
>From me: Our established identity (look-and-feel, etc.) seems to be using
the Aachen font (heavy, blocky, squarish), and the shot of the
angled-bridge-with-Sears-Tower-from-the-south.
We need to make press passes that look much more like a standard press-pass
design -- more credit-card sized, with a few of them on a plastic loop hung
from a thin neck strap. I think any simple, line-based, shape tesselation
would be a good background. I/We would welcome info from anyone who can
describe or scan existing press passes....
I would also press for using the Water Tower graphic, which looks
consummately smooth and finished/professional.
And would someone please post that URL to get to those promotional materials
of ours? (Thanks.)
Chris
