Cool....
In our recent dealings with a moderate stream of volunteer requests, I woul=
d say that I'm forming an opinion on a general process for relating to ne=
wer people.
While anyone can do stories and post, of course, I would say that organizat=
ional-minded reporters -- those who want to be part of the agenda-setting=
/decision-making process and do meetings and all that -- should come to a=
regular CIMC meeting to meet the regulars and also should post to our op=
en list, imc-chicago@indymedia.org.
I assure you I'm not looking to move toward membership rules or anything of=
the sort -- mostly brainstorming.
Chris

Subject: [CIMC-volunteer] Roman
This guy gave me a call tonight. He said he'd try to come to the next
meeting -- mostly just to see what it's about. He's particularly
interested in video -- I gave him Chris K's email address. He was
interested in producing some sort of regular content.

B. To further develop my skills when the world catches up to the
innovation of the internet and free press.
I am a Chicago based Visual Comunications student looking for a worthwhile
pursuit to volunteer my free time.
I would enjoy hearing from an Indy veteran on what to expect and how to
get started producing content.
