Elizabeth,

Why not make it available to the public by posting your message below to th=
e imc-chicago@indymedia.org list? Or even post it as an article, if you t=
hink that's appropriate.

Elizabeth here. Question to Ian and folks. I am
trying to figure out which list to post this to.
It's a collection of pre-1923 now public domain
photos online from the NY Public Library archive.
There may be some good old labor photos and other
images to make use of for various Indy design projects
or articles. There's likely some Chicago photos=20
among those 30,000 images. Is working the proper list?
I just think it's a good resource for folks to have.

The Picture Collection Online
From the New York Public Library, this is a
"collection of 30,000 digitized, public domain images
from books, magazines and newspapers as well as
original photographs, prints and postcards, mostly
created before 1923. It consists of images of New York
City, Costume, Design, American History" and more than
12,000 other subjects. It is searchable by "keyword or
by browsing a variety of indexes."
