[CIMC-working] why has global server been failing

In case you are wondering about those recent server problems....

which translates (partially) into 'no matter how much disk we add, the
various IMCs manage to overfill it' and 'we are trying to get regular
database backups running'

The problem is being managed at the moment and all seems technically quiet
for this weekend.
