I thought this should be sent from tech to the working group list for
input.--Elizabeth

our next book.

sorry to cross-post.

but this is a request from our allies over at project censored, which
dedicated their last book to all the imcs in indymedia. they didn't
just write www.indymedia.org. they wrote all the imcs that were
currently in the network when the book was published. that's cool.
peter phillips also was generous to indymedia folks during the sf
press freedom conference when 80 plus indymedia people all gathered
together to talk about alof of different issues facing the network -
a prime one being the development of the principles of unity and
membership criteria so that the tech collective didn't have to make
those decisions without any process. it was a good thing.

this just came to our helpdesk, but i think it needs to be shared
with the whole network and whoever woudl like to respond is welcome.
i also think if we did it collectively we'd have some really
interesting dialogue happening. maybe someone could start and post
it and send in the link and we could add to it with comments. maybe
on global.indymedia.org, our internal communication site which we
hardly use.

anyway, i'm sure the project censored folks would love to hear from
us, so please folks don't be shy.
