Hi all
Here's a gander at the Mayday storyblock, which I think covers most
everything that has been publically announced on our site about Mayday and a
little history as well. Will add links as info comes in. Info about
additional affinity group direct actions have yet to appear on the
site...wisely so, considering who might be lurking about.
Hope folks can get out and cover some of this stuff.
As always, feel free to add links, revise, ect.
Best
-Dick
May 1st, International Workers' Day, commemorates the historic struggle
of working people throughout the world, and is recognized in every country
except the U.S. and Canada. This, despite the fact that the holiday began in
the 1880s in the U.S, with the fight for an eight-hour work day. And at the
core of this increasingly revolutionary upsurge stood the workers of Chicago.

On Thursday, May 1, 2003, Chicagoans all over the city will gather again
to remember the Haymarket Martyrs, reclaim our history, call for peace, and
celebrate the continuing struggle for social and economic justice. Stay tuned
