[CIMC-work] finally convening CIMC video group?

OK, here's the skinny. Thomas Yun is extremely interested in working to 
convene a working CIMC video group, possibly to stake out space on CAN-TV. I've 
suggested he draft a short proposal and submit it to the general collective, and 
have also volunteered to help him put this together. He w/likely have 
something for us sometime in September. I've also put him in direct contact with Jon 
Groot, who is also very interested in this, and with James Owens of 
Andersonville Neighbors for Peace/CCAWR/Chicago Media Action. In addition, some of the 
folks from the Anti-war Marching Band are thinking along the same lines, and 
I've suggested to Thomas/Jon that they hook up with those folks directly about 
collaborative efforts, and have also let Thomas know that Mitchell/Chicago Media 
Action is also working on shaping something up for CAN-TV. Jon Groot is on 
excellent paper with the folks at CAN-TV, and could be very helpful in this 
process. i know this is pretty nebulous right now, but...anybody else interested?
