Yeah, I've weighed in with Thomas -- basically, my new laptop will be back
from the shop on Friday (screen's color was off), and this one should handle
video handily (iBook 800 mHz G3) -- also have possession of a digital-8
camcorder, though I'd need bux for Hi-8 tapes and a larger battery (it has
Firewire!). Feels like I'm finally on my way -- crossing my fingers so hard
now they're turning blue....
