[CIMC-work] Center Panel Calendar for Anti-Police Brutality Demo Saturday?

Hi all --

In her absence, Chris G. suggested that I "lobby" you to see if you could put 
a 12 noon demo this Saturday on the center-panel calendar.  A pretty solid 
story has already been posted to the news wire that explains the issues.  The 
event is sponsored by the Comite Exijimos Justicia ("We Demand Justice 
Committee"), a group comprised primarily of Latino family members of wrongfully 
incarcerated men.  The march is on the far West Side, and the group is based in 
Humboldt Park.  It certainly would help begin to balance the northside/white bias 
so many progressive events have.

I don't know your process for doing this.  I just hope that someone of this 
list who is knowledgeable will "take the bull by the horns" and arrange to do 
this ASAP.  Thanks, and sorry for the short notice!
