[CIMC-work] outstanding CIMC issues -- any input, decisions?

hey gang,
Rebecca at WIDC wrote and called me today about what we want to do. she is
leaving in a week permanently for Washington DC and will get me the name of
who to talk with in her place. The deal may change(?) with the new person,
particularly as they are a board member.
I think we have enough support for the monthly film screenings, but we need
more discussion on renting space. I will let her know this.
On Chris's request for money for the video camera, i think we need to ask
how it fits in with our strategy. If we have someone that will promptly go
out and shoot video and edit it, then let's consider supporting Chris on
this.
As we didn't get any sort of consensus on supporting Matt with dough to
obtain some videos for the WIDC screenings I'm going to loan money to the
project.
Also have it in my mind to come up with a one-day photo training. It's more
a lesson in visual literacy and how not to be a racist/sexist/etc. Designed
toward volunteers who want to be told what to do.
ciao,
g.
