Don, all,

You bring up a crucial point about IMC volunteer energy -- willing,
constructive collaborators should generally not be discouraged from their
self-motivated efforts.

I agree -- it seems that much topic-specific news research/compiling could
be done with Google searches or by subscribing to the appropriate (non-IMC)
listserves (or newsisfree.com).

I take "ongoing coverage" to mean already-posted, IMC-created news. But yes,
the wording is vague as to sourcing.
