Videos.  Video working group will decide on particulars.

Server Status
-------------

Goes live tonight (14th).  Ian out of town Dec 20 - Jan 10.

Center Panel Process
--------------------

Garth wants people to be sure to email plans, actions to mailing
list.  Nothing formal.

Upcoming Features
-----------------

Iraq women event, Thursday Dec 18 7pm at Chicago Temple, 77 W
Washington.  Audio interview, setup quickly (Monday or Tuesday) with
AFSC who is managing tour in Chicago.  They will be speaking other
places, so you don't need to do this at the Washington event.  Center
Panel will cover reaction, not publicity.

Powell protest (Mitchell organizing; covering), Thursday Dec 18,
starts 6:45pm, talking on 7:30-9:00.  CAN-TV covering both protest and
speech.

Brian Avery.  All content is prepared, needs followup to post.
Mitchell sent an email, hasn't heard response.  Will continue to
follow up.

Mitchell wants a 2003 year in review center panel.  20-page review!

Broch's closing, no one sure quite when.  Chris has audio of protest.

imc-chicago-photo at lists.indymedia.org formed by Garth.

imc-chicago-announce at lists.indymedia.org is not being used

chicago at indymedia.org alias should point somewhere better.

Video Group
-----------

Forming a wish list:
* Hard drives: Maxtor Firewire external
* Workstation
* Tapes
* Transfer deck
* Projector

Summary:
* Final Cut Editing Pro workstation

Requirements: why these things are needed, what the specific prices
are.  Garth will make another photo list that's similar.

Separate page for video group.  Events-panel style teaser.  Streaming
teasers.  Calendar stuff.

Questions about equipment, checking out equipment, etc.  Video
equipment should be easily used for audio or photo (though maybe
other software is necessary too).

First distribution mechanism will probably be via website.  There may
be tech issues.  Dunno.

Photo Group
-----------

First photo chili get-together this Thursday at 7pm, at Garth's
house.  About 6 or 7 so far.

Interest in gallery shows.  Web gallery space.

Garth looking to do outreach to increase diversity.  Wants to do more
than protests.

Chicago Social Forum
--------------------

January 31st, Febuary 1st, http://chicagosocialforum.org

Mitchell has written a description for a workshop.  AFSC is organizing
event.  Workshop basically describes CIMC, offers possibilities for
participation -- description is vague.  Mitchell is also doing a CMA
workshop "Critical Thinking and the Media".

Workshops can be 1:30-2:00 long.  Discussion continues on working
list.

Outreach
--------

Rewrite contact forms, volunteer forms.  Check
http://volunteer.indymedia.org

Include better meeting time information.

US IMC
------

Garth is participating on the two process lists.  He's concerned
about the participation of local IMCs in the list, and the small
number of participants.  A letter composed by Mitchell was discussed,
but the new-IMC process has already passed for US-IMC, and passive
consensus has already occurred.

M20
---

CIMC is probably going to be subpoenaed about the M20 march.  At
least Chris G and Dick are probably going to have depositions.

Anyone who does a deposition needs to contact the Lawyers Guild.

Office
------

Space kind of in place, but not fully.  Equipment in basement.

Finance
-------

We have about $1200 in the bank.
