Hey all,
this will be discussed at the sunday meeting which I will make, but I
wanted to put some thoughts out and get feedback beforehand.
I am not sure if I will go to NYC or stay here. NYC ought to have
enough people(particularly photo in my case) covering it. We in Chicago
look to have an exciting action going on at Devon. I heard the NPR story
today on the exodus of particularly Pakistanis into Canada, some of which
have been illegally turned back. So though it might be exciting to go to an
extremely large and possibly unpermitted rally and march, I feel we have a
need to cover our own event. I'm also excited that it won't just be the
regular suspects showing up.
Curious about who is planning to cover what and so forth. There are
also some suburban actions going on, particularly Palatine and Elgin.
Another concern; will our server be alright? Is there something that
can be done ahead of time? This last time I tried posting at several other
sites before I found UK. I did not try Urbana Champaign. Would that or
another more local site have a suitable alternative server? Particularly
for 15 or so Jpegs of about 50k each?
