On the same day as other major cities around the world say NO to Bush=E2=80=
=99s war on Iraq, people from Chicago and nearby cities will have an opport=
unity to join that call, and also say NO to the racial profiling of Musli=
ms, Arabs and South Asians which is now official government policy.=20

February 15th is an international day of protest against war on Iraq. It is=
 also just 6 days before the =E2=80=9Cregistration=E2=80=9D deadline for =
many Pakistanis in the United States, the same =E2=80=9Cregistrations=E2=
=80=9D which led to the arrests of more than 1000 Iranians in Los Angeles a=
 few weeks ago.=20

The drive to war is being fueled by the scapegoating of innocent Muslims, S=
outh Asians, Arabs and immigrants, fanning fears so that citizens feel it=
 is =E2=80=9Cnecessary=E2=80=9D for the United States to launch a new war=
 on Iraq. Chicago's protest will be both an ANTI-WAR MARCH and a SOLIDARI=
TY MARCH with Chicago=E2=80=99s embattled Pakistani community and other c=
ommunities facing Bush=E2=80=99s frightening =E2=80=9Cregistrations=E2=80=
=9D and victimizations of immigrants. Please join this march to say stop th=
e attacks on immigrants, repeal the registration act, and NO to war on Ir=
aq!=20
