Don's got PayPal just about ready to go up.  In conjunction with that I 
believe there was consensus that we should also make a center column to 
ask for money and say that PayPal was now available.  If someone can 
write that, that would be appreciated -- post it to the list so we can 
put it up in coordination with editing other parts of the site.  Also 
if anyone has any particular suggestions about text for the donation 
page, for instance we might want to describe how the money is used.

It just occurred to me that we could also wait until the site redesign 
is in place and make a single center column of the two.  Then people 
happy about the white background will give us money (or one might 
hope).  Anyway, the site redesign shows we're working on improving the 
site, and that might put people in a more giving mood.

I can have the site redesign done tonight and ready for final comments. 
  Well, it's not inscribed in stone, but final comments before it's 
implemented.  We can still tweak it later.  Perhaps then we can put it 
in place by tomorrow night.
