Ok, some people have this, some don't. Pass this far and wide for
anyone looking to upload or access video.

1) Web: http://f15.nycimc.org/

This includes directions for encoding VP3 files. If you cant find them,
refer to the list archives of imc-nyc-video, Justin gave a great how-to.

2) FTP: server: f15.nycimc.org user: videodropbox pass: peacenow

Accompany your videos with a text file with your name, contact info,
description of the video clip etc. Name them the same, different
extension. Ie, nyc-john1.mov nyc-john1.txt

3) The Format

We're asking that everyone encode to Quicktime with the VP3 video codec
and a lossless (ie, ulaw) audio codec. By keeping everything in this
format it ensures our ability to continue using it for months to come,
and please encode to a bitrate high enough to use in a film project down
the road.. doesn't have to be DVD quality, but nothing too choppy or
covered in scattered squares.

Short term, these will be shown on tv stations around the world to show
whats happening in other cities.

Long term, we'd like to be able to use this for an IMC video project
about F15, the peace movement, etc.

If you're in NYC, get your videos to 56 Walker St to be encoded.

We'll be running out video breaking news from a studio at Walker Stage
as well as an evening news program giving an overview of what happened
during the day, both here in NYC and worldwide. It'll be on the FTP
server if anyone's interested in picking it up.
