[CIMC-working] Positive server news...

I thought I'd share that I've been having some success lately in setting
up new software on Stallman, which should alleviate many of the problems
we've been having -- including such things as database problems, which
has its roots in the software as well. (The disk space remains an
issue)

Anyway, I've installed dadaIMC on sandbox.indymedia.org -- if you want
to play around and see what the software is like, feel free. You can
login as an editor with the username "jeditor", and as an administrator
(via /admin/) as "admin", using the features password.

There are still some other issues to work out. Mirroring is important,
particularly on Stallman, and there will be quite a bit of work in
moving the actual data over. I probably won't get a chance to test that
before Sunday, but either way we should discuss the timeline. I also
have to confer with the other admins, but if we can come to agreement on
Sunday then I can move forward more quickly.

I'm hopeful that other IMCs on Stallman will also be able to make this
transition after us, which will help the network on several levels.
