Hi, Jake:
I'm a volunteer with Chicago Indymedia -- and we would love to table at the
upcoming concerts. Please let us know what we need to do to follow up re
same. I'll take off my CIMC hat for a minute and put on my HammerHard Media
hat and suggest a few other local groups that might be good:
The Chicago Coalition Against War & Racism: the city's most left-wing
anti-war coalition, and one that has consistently played well with others;
they initiated Chicago's Feb. 15 anti-war protest with folks in Chicago's
Pakistani community, and drew more than 7,000 people to the protest...modest
by international standards but good for Chicago. They've also initiated the
city-wide Anti-War Emergency Response Plan that virtually every other
anti-war project has signed on to, and have been rock-solid in challenging
racism, US imperialism, corporate globalization, and attacks on the
Palestinian, Arab and Muslim communities in Chicago. They can be reached at

I also think it would be great to talk to Rocky Pyskoty of Food Not Bombs and
Circuit of Chicago Anti-Racist-Action. Both groups are great. Rocky can be

can be reached directly at circuitry@post.com (cell is 630-399-1936...I think
you might have contacted Chicago ARA already).

The timing of your very generous offer is great -- Chicago Indymedia just
