Agree. Except the choice of list. Is this process or a "strategy" issue?
My understanding was.......

With that Caveat, I concur the vision. The Topic IMC I would prefer be
given pages within the existing global, sort of like newspapers do.
Dedicated to topic like the self selection of topics some of our wires use,
but selected by the work group. I see this as a good way to get people
working as IMC card carrying journalists.

Damn but I'd like a figure on that group. Card Carrying, IMC posting
journalists...

I've used the term satelite some years here to get the idea of affiliate
venues (in the burroughs, in the outlying small towns etc). And I still
like it rather than the vision of full blown walk in imc spaces in all those
places. A bit lighter on resources and working crew. And more freedom to
do community outreach and coordination and presentations etcetcetc. All it
takes is a group committed to the goals, the principles and the DOing. And
an IMC to support it all with a page and calendars and tech.

Walt
in Seattle, almost 400 miles from the other side of the state where they
have no imc, and people are thinner between, but they find their way to Sea.
and mostly its one way TO us. --

I think the IMC network should support different groups which come together
under IMC principles to do all kinds of work.
