Paul is an independent journalist, a retired professor, and has recently
spent months in jail because the local and appellate courts did not
recognize his credentials.   the Supreme Court of Washington did,
completely.

He is a bit irked because he did NOT get support from the establishment and
did not get support from the professional organizations of which he is a
member.  

He would be excellent to have in a discussion group.  Right now he has been
putting his thoughts on SPJ-L, and he is busy with some mega civil suits,
but he would help, I'm sure.  He's a believer in the first amendment.
