Subject: [imc-commwork] Greetings from Indymedia-Istanbul Initiative

Greetings from Indymedia-Istanbul Initiative,

please take a minute to read this:

As you probably know, we have a IMC site in pre-launch
stage:
http://istanbul.indymedia.org

Our problem is that, we seem to be unable to receive
sufficient technical assistance to solve the apparent
problems in our site. We do appreciate all the efforts
up to date and we acknowledge that all these efforts
are voluntary and this basis is amongst the strenghts
of the global indymedia community; but all we ask is
adequent technical assistance on a regular basis. We
can wait for any priorities of the indymedia community
to be handled first, but we have been waiting for
months without knowing when and how. We too are
volunteers dedicated to the indymedia ideals and the
realization of a lively IMC Istanbul is a necessity
for us.

We think that, to assume that the future of the
indymedia-Istanbul initiative is important for the
global indymedia community, is not assuming too much.

To post an e-mail to our list please use:
imc-turkey@lists.indymedia.org

with solidarity,

balaban
