AER's VIDEO PETITION PROJECT AT THE MUEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART
War (What is it Good For?)
January 18th - May 18th

January 15, 2003- On January 18th Artist Emergency Response (AER) will
premiere its Video Petition Project (VPP) at the Museum of Contemporary
Art, in the exhibition "War (What is it Good For?)".
A project working to present the growing number of North Americans who
oppose the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, the VPP
thus far has approximately 200 participants. Throughout the duration of the
exhibition AER will continue to shoot to reach the goal of 1,000
petitioners.
Please look for up-coming news from AER, as there are several event dates
to be announced. AER is currently planning a panel discussion and
screenings in the MCA auditorium in coordination with the MCA performance
and education departments, AER video shoots in the MCA plaza as well as a
fundraiser at a location to be announced.
AER is based in Chicago and is supported by various socially conscious
groups and individuals throughout North America. More detailed information
