[CIMC-work] Re: CIMC benefit next Friday

I haven't seen any traffic on this mailing list regarding the benefit,
which I heard is happening at Women In The Director's Chair.

If anyone hasn't done anything about organizing the event, I think we
should get cracking with organizing.  (Note: I'm flying to Las
Vegas this weekend for the International Game Show Congress, so I won't be
able to attend this Sunday's meeting.)

Some things to consider:

(1) Itinerary: What films are left over from the April 25 benefit? (I have
a copy of Scott Becker's "Selected Colonial Shorts" if you want to show
that.)  Are there any films which have been created since then that
should be considered for showing?

(2) Promotion: Will a center panel suffice?  (Probably not.)  An email/fax 
blast?  Flyers?  Anything else?

(3) Materiel: Will food and/or alcohol be sold?  Anything else? (T-shirts
presumably; I still have to buy one).
