a graphic of Iraqi children I got from the Electronic Iraq website.  Let

The Bush Administration is facing <A

firestorm of criticism</A> about its 
War on Iraq.  The corporate media has been focussing on

">narrow technical charges of faulty intelligence</A>, even though critics
can levy far more serious charges of complicity
in the deaths of both <A
HREF="http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/07/10/1057783290333.html">U.S. soldiers</A>
and <A HREF="http://la.indymedi
a.org/news/2003/03/42041.php?theme=2
">Iraqi innocents in wartime</A>, along with Iraqi deaths due to <A
HREF="http://www.nonviolence.org/vitw/old_site/airwar.html">bombings</A> a
nd <A HREF="http://www.nonviolence.org/vitw/old_site/Kysia10.html
">sanctions</A> since 1991.

Members of the Chicago City Council have added gasoline to the firestorm
by <A HREF="http://chicago.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=28378&
group=webcast
">sending a public letter to George W. Bush</A>.  The letter, 
signed by 30 city council members, asks Bush for details on Iraq's weapons
of mass destruction--the presumed main rationale for the 
2003 war.
