War on Iraq. The corporate media has been focussing on

">narrow technical charges of faulty intelligence</A>, even though critics
can levy far more serious charges of complicity
in the deaths of both <A

">Iraqi innocents in wartime</A>, along with Iraqi deaths due to <A

">sanctions</A> since 1991.

Members of the Chicago City Council have added gasoline to the firestorm
by <A HREF="http://chicago.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=28378&
group=webcast
">sending a public letter to George W. Bush</A>. The letter,
signed by 30 city council members, asks Bush for details on Iraq's weapons
of mass destruction--the presumed main rationale for the
2003 war.
