Elizabeth, were you able to check out the meeting notes I posted? We've got
Chris G. who just put up the one about the Big Nose cop and Mitchell has one
on Benton Harbor together ready to go. I put together all the material for
a Bike Summer one that should really go up ASAP as it's kickoff was
tonight, but I need someone to put it in html. And then we have a housing
rally on thursday. I'm going to try to cover it but we'll see with
work-today was a complete loser.
I am also starting to put together a feature for the Radio Project with info
on local Chicago radio projects. this is on the slower cooker as i'm
swamped and this other stuff can get more time at the top.
Chris G. also sees putting up another Day Laborers feature soon as well.
I apologize if these features are coming across as unilateral decisions,
there was discussion at the minimally attended meeting. I think because
there's been minimal discussio lately that people are just kind of going
ahead with the features in good faith.
maybe we should have discussion on how much light we want to give to
elections stuff. I was interested in Kucinich at the Congress Hotel more
for the Congress story, though I'd vote for him as well. Being news, we
can't ignore the elections, I guess it all depends on how much someone wants
to give to it. I know too that we don't out and out endorse a
candidate(s)... what do people think?
ciao,g.
