Possible features
-----------------

* EPA meeting in Chicago.  Joel perhaps to do something with radio.
  On Thursday, open forum on regulating diesel fuel.  Open meeting.

* More trials for M20 people: continuing hearings, continuances, etc.
  Lots of court dates.  J19 - Status hearing.  Will go on radio show.
  J9 meeting.  Emily has contacts.

* Powell coming for keynote event.  Joel also planning to record.

* Spotlight We The Media event.  Screening, performance, a couple bands,
  maybe some improv.  Screening local content.  Freeform party of sorts.
  Done by CIMC, Redline Radio, Chicago Media Action.  Dubbed Chicago
  Independent Media Network.

  Mostly trying to get a lot of different interesting people to come,
  table, buy ads in adbook, etc.  Contact CLMN list for more

  Freedom Fest comes two weekends before.  Workshop-like system, on
  producing content.

  Should have outreach information.  (Training sessions?)

  Garth wants to do stuff with We The Media.

  Chicago Public Art Group (muralists).

  Jonathan will send names of video groups to Emily.  Emily needs more
  local video.  Labor Beat may send stuff too.

* International Food Technologists, July 16, coming to Chicago.  
  (Jonathan -- a new guy, passing through Chicago)

* Garth posting tonight soliciting postings from people who attended
  United For Peace And Justice conference.

* G8 -- haven't made announcement.

* Miami, FTAA conference.  There is no Miami Indymedia, closest is
  Tallahassee/Red Hills Indymedia.

* S27, DC anti-war mobilization.

* Cancun, S13.  

Treasury
--------

$400 uncommitted dollars (real cash!).  Made $950 (net) on last Buddy
event.

Probably not a lot coming in due to We The Media.

Might like to send people to Cancun or Miami, for Indymedia
convergence.  Need to fundraise if we want to send someone.

Radio Connection
----------------

Rita wants CMA to have a semi-regular presence on the radio show.
Somebody has approached CMA about starting their own radio show.

Rita would like to go to two shows a month, if she can find more
(reliable, of course) people to contribute (two teams who trade off).

Mitchell will bring it up at next CMA meeting.

Unification
-----------

fortune500.com.  Link to other Chicago independent media.  Some of the
same index as for CLMN.

Delegate feature panel.

Create annotated list of groups.  Send links to cimc-tech.  Don't need
permission, might want to tell group once they are linked.

Coordination
------------

Send request to newswire, center column.

Want to clean up office.  Provide equipment for people to use.  Do
office hours so that people can come in.

Training session
----------------

Rita willing to give training session this summer.  Has to be at
Loyola.  Needs more people in order to warrant a training session.
Rita would like at least two people.  Thinking maybe sometime in
July.

Garth would do photo training session.

People can also show up at Loyola (North Shore Campus).

Rita, of course, has a list of volunteers.  She'll plan on sending
them this information.

Changing to Dada software
-------------------------

Moved, consensed.  Try to do this in July.  Waiting on .98 version to
be released.  Offers lots of features.  We'll have to reimplement the
design (which doesn't mean creating a new design -- but does mean
adapting the design to a slightly different layout).
