Hi all,

For discussion at the Wed, 4/2 meeting (7 pm) at cimc space:

See previous note on regional stuff.

On global stuff...

Some of the stuff below is exciting and inspiring even...

As a cimc participant who watches the global lists...

I feel it would be really great if we can discuss the three posts below and
the *key* issues they address.

There are constructive possibilities in the notes, that I feel resonate
with many of the views expressed by cimc participants.

It would be wonderful to come up with some agreements, positive
alternatives, and/or further development of points in these posts (which
might need discussion with other locals):

- posts on the tactical media fund and on alternative grass roots fund
raising issues, by:

	Athens imc
Athens Indymedia on the TMF and network funding in general
	http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-finance/2003-February/001759.html

	Rosario imc
IMC-ROSARIO STATEMENT ON THE INDYMEDIA NETWORK FINANCIAL CRITERIA.
	http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-process/2003-February/004627.html

Also see this index to links of statements by other imc locals on these
points (at least 6 locals, including rosario, have made statements on the
tmf and financial issues):

	Links Summary of Fundraising/TMF Discussion
	http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-process/2003-February/004622.html

- a proposal by Italy imc on inter-imc communications, mainly on lists
A proposal for the global lists (IMC Italy)
	http://lists.indymedia.org/mailman/public/imc-process/2003-February/004651.html

I hope we can discuss the posts by the Athens, Rosario and Italy IMCs.

Before summarizing these points or suggesting possible
responses/elaboration (hopefully a group effort), I believe it would be
great if we can do some general planning and strategy discussions around
the topics in these notes.

If not, the regional organizing issues in the previous note are directly
relevant to cimc.

Comments?
