Subject: [CMA] WTTW aok Thurs night
4:45 pm Monday
CMA, friends,
We are "go" for Thursday night! And, to mix metaphors, the "ball" is
definitely in our court.
CMA and friends will have a private meeting room at 7:00 p.m. This is our
chance to commit to staying focused pointedly on agreed positions.
Our meeting with WWCI/WTTW is at 8 p.m. Randy King, Dan Soles, and veteran
producer Mike Lederman will be there.
Please tell the organizations you now contact that it is important that we
all arrive about 7 p.m. Parking is free in WTTW's lot, which will be open.
WTTW is not right on a major street, and might be confused with nearby
college buildings, so give people the address, 5400 N. St. Louis (which is
3500 west). WTTW is West of Kimball and North of Foster. There are
directions and a map at www.networkchicago.com/directions.htm, or
www.wttw.com and use "search".
Our forums issue is discussed at www.chicagomediaaction.org (and in your
overflowing email inbox). A general description and a draft INVITATION TO
COMMUNITY GROUPS were in an email with subject "invitation draft." The
motivation for groups to send support Thursday night is that they will help
win a major opportunity to present their issues to a huge television
audience.
