Probably the easiest way to get me photos is to upload them via FTP.
I've enabled an FTP account:
server: colorstudy.com
username: cimc
password: same as for features
Anyone here who has photos, please upload the largest format you have.
Try to make it clear who's photo is who, at least if you want credit :)
Like initials in the filename, or make a folder and upload your pictures
into that folder. You can crop the photos, but I'll make the
thumbnails, and also add a small "chicago.indymedia.org" to the
picture. If you want credit embedded in the picture (i.e., your name),
I can do that too, just say so.
Captions are good too. Perhaps the best way to do those is to email me
with filenames of the photos, and the corresponding captions.
If you have photos on the newswire that you want to include, you can
just email me the URL -- preferably the URL of the image itself (not the
whole page).
If anyone has problems with the FTP, email me and we can figure them
out. If you haven't used FTP before, you might want to download a
client to start. CuteFTP is a decent Windows client, though nothing
special. Find it here:

On Macs, Fetch is the canonical FTP client:

It's pretty straight-forward. If you don't have the bandwidth to upload
these, we can arrange something, burning a CD or something. I also have
a negative/slide scanner.
