[CIMC-work] Google search, tech update

I added a Google search form to the sidebar, since it's a lot more
responsive and has a decent index.

In other news, the hard drive and database machine upgrade were
successful.  Hasn't totally cured the database problems, but maybe it'll
be better.

I'm working on doing backups.  In order to back up the database I'll
have to close off access to it.  I'm not sure how long it's going to
take, but if articles stop responding (the front page will still work)
sometime late this night, that's what it will be.  Hopefully it won't
take long to make a dump.

I plan to burn the whole thing to 2 CD's.  I'll make a couple copies to
distribute on Friday.  Don should get a set, who else wants one?
