I agree with this.  I think we should determine the criteria ahead of
time, and post that, so people can plan on it.  If war starts on Friday,
then definitely we should cancel.  If it starts on Thursday...?  I'm
thinking it should be a go then.  It can be an after-protest
get-together for people.  OTOH, it could serve that purpose even if war
starts on Friday, but 8pm is a little early for either day.  Hmm...

I can make a note about the event in the top panel, linking to the
center panel, and then in bold we can say "update: in the event..." 
That panel should also include a time.

That's how I think we should do it.
