yikes! forgot about today. I won't be able to make it in time.

I would like to propose meeting during the week (it it's not too
problematic), more importantly, I propose we get an agenda going on our
listserve so we have a clearer purpose when do we meet.

To extend this proposal, I would like to suggest having a Facilitator, or
Clerk. Someone that follows up on proposals and other discussion items that
come up. Not to add beauracracy, but to clarify vagueness and give a
stronger sense of what we're doing.

In a nutshell:
*Make calls for "Go Around: subject" and all should respond even if
it's an I Don't Care. Responses
shouldn't be painfully long, but as elegantly concise as possible.

*Facilitate Discussion in a supportive way, if it's not making
progress, to help mold decisions (tricky).

*Finalize Proposals. "Final Proposal: subject" Take up responsibility
to put into Final Proposal, to which
everyone ought to respond so we know there are no serious objections
b someone unaware, of course
we all try to follow the list anyway. To expedite our email process,
one can simply put "Yes: no
comment" in the subject box and we won't even have to open mail.
Slick, huh?

*Follow Up on decisions. "Follow Up: subject, responsible person's
name". Maybe someone forgot or
misunderstood they said they would do something. Or if they don't
care anymore, we need to know so
       someone else can do it.

Of course anyone can do these things, throw up a suggestion and make a call
for a go around. Ideally we wouldn't need a facilitator but I think at this
point it would help. Can we see how it goes? If there's no objections I
can be the first facilitator.
