Elizabeth, all,

Yeah, I'd be interested in discussing how to approach this issue. I'm
wondering if my "man-in-the-street" approach to reporting is suitable for
this event. From a political standpoint the story is already there (which
you included, below) -- "Homeland Security" bullshit -- 'nuff said.

Would there be more stories here? Any investigative reporting required? An
anti-spin story, maybe? Considering SARS/Beijing and healthy skepticism of
FEMA's intentions here, it's worth getting the word out. See this link:
