Hi Everyone,

This message is being sent out to all US-based IMCs inviting each IMC to
have a liaison on the new IMC-US-Process at lists.indymedia.org e-mail list.
The goal of this new list is to provide a communications medium and
information dissemination point for all US IMCs.  We are asking each IMC
to empower a liaison to be on this list.  One can sign up at:

A few quick list-rules:

1. Anyone working with a US-based IMC can join the list, voice their
opinions, raise concerns, etc.; however, only IMCs (as a collective) can
block proposals sent to the list.

2. Anyone joining the IMC-US-Process list is required to provide a brief
introduction stating which IMC they work with, what they do, whether they
are an official liaison, etc.

3. The list administrators are expected to actively facilitate
constructive and positive dialogue and discussion; abuse will not be
tolerated and people will be asked once to cease abusive postings before
being removed from the list.

4. Decisions will be considered approved by consensus of list participants
-- discussion periods will be announced on the list and IMCs may request
discussion period extensions.

5. Whenever possible, IMCs that block a proposal are expected to provide
an alternative solution to the problem at hand.
